How much does it cost to hire Fourphit?

We are committed to giving you the best possible price for our services, however it is hard to judge an exact cost without knowing more about the event. We urge you to provide as much information as possible when contacting us to ensure we give you the best price possible.

How far will you travel/ Where are you based?

We are available to hire throughout the UK. The band members are based in Liverpool, Wrexham, Shrewsbury and Welshpool.

Will I need to hire a DJ as well as the band?

No, a member of the band can provide this service often for free depending on which package you choose. Alternatively if you have a playlist on your phone or tablet then we can hook this up to our PA free of charge.

What kind of music do you play?

Fourphit play the biggest and best hits from the 50's right up until the present day. Our songs range from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Kenny Loggins all the way to The Killers ,Oasis and Bruno Mars. Our aim is to be a hit with all members of the audience and guarantee your crowd to be up dancing all night long.

What time will the band arrive and finish?

The band members will arrive 1 hour and 30 mins before the scheduled performance start time. And our usual standard finish time is midnight. However the band are very flexible and we can accommodate any early arrival and late finish, however this may incur additional charges so we advise you speak to us prior to confirming the booking and we will work with you.

How long does it take for the band to set up?

We require 1 hour and 15 mins set up time plus an extra 15 mins sound check. Being able to check our sound before the live performance is a must to ensure you get the best quality entertainment.

What time will the band start?

The band are very accommodating in this aspect and can perform any time that suits you.  In most scenarios we usually start the band performance from 9pm onwards (based on our previous experience)

How long can the band play for?

A maximum of 2 hours and 30 mins of live performance. Please check our packages page where you can find all this information.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and is your equipment PAT tested?

Yes, we are covered for anything up to £1.000.000. All our equipment also comes fully PAT tested. If you or your venue require proof of this then we are happy to forward this onto you.

Will the band provide a PA and disco lighting?

Yes, we have a top of the range PA system and lighting rig that will fill out most dance floors

What do I need to provide the band with during the event?

We do have some small requests:

  • Access to soft drinks and water throughout the event (we do get very thirsty from our onstage boogying)

  • If the event is catered, a meal for each member of the band (we aren't fussy, sandwiches will be fine)

  • At least 2xplug sockets near performance area.

  • Free parking near the event. (We have a lot of heavy gear.)

Can we request the band to play the first dance? Or request specific songs for the event?

We're always happy to take on song requests, however we do ask that you enquire within plenty of notice to give us time to rehearse.

How much space does the band require?

Performance area / stage ideally needs to be 8ft deep, 17ft wide however if this isn't possible then we may still fit, just let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.

Can we use the mics for speeches/announcements etc?

Yes, if you just let us know before the event and we will get everything in place ready for you.

Are any backing tracks used?

Absolutely not, everything you hear is from our instruments and vocals.

Do I need to secure my booking with a deposit?

On most occasions we do not require a deposit. If we do then we will let you know.

Can I see the band live before booking?

Of course, but it is important to point out that due to the nature of our band public gigs are minimal.

Contracts and booking confirmation:

Bookings are confirmed once the contract is signed and returned to us. If a deposit is required for your booking then this will also need to be paid.

After the booking:

We are very flexible guys and understand that with event planning comes complications and sometimes there is need to change certain aspects of the day. If you do need us to work around you or change anything please let us know at least one week before the event.
